I have two wordpress sites, using two different themes. They both have the same issues.
When I log in to wp-admin only the top bar (WordPress, website, updates, comments, new) hover work. Screen options and help don’t work at all. My media library doesn’t show anything (not even ‘no files’). They ONLY work when I am on my ‘Home’ site. In the editor, permalink ‘Edit’ and ‘Add media’ buttons don’t work further to above issues.
I has been like this since 4.7 or earlier.
I have tried:
* empty caches, remove all temp files and history, re-logged in, reboot
* Firefox and Internet Explorers
* checked my java is updated and old versions removed
* updated and re-installed twice wp and all plugins on both sites
* deactivated all plugins
I learned from other foras it could be a ‘bootstrap’ problem? I have no idea what that is and hope you can give me an easy idiot-friendly solution. Thanks!
