I’m really happy to have done my research and installed this super lightweight plugin. I use the free version. So far, my stats are: 70/70 Attachments Smushed. Total Savings: 26.3 MB / 55.9%. Resize Saving: 23.0 MB. To find out how lightweight the Plugin is, I just ran the “P3 Plugin Profiler” to check the load time for Smush on my site. It’s 0.0286 seconds.
The plugin works fast and I’ve even put it on another site I’m helping out with developing. The other site will also have a lot of attachments. With that one, we might end up getting the premium version closer to launch date. But, for now – the free version is kicking butt.
I also really like that I can even re-check my images to see if any further compression is available.
