Hello,
when setting up a subdomain (www.sitename.com/en) for English version, the new site is successfully created by the WP network and also the frontend is visible/ accessible. However, the backend (Dashboard to configure the site) is not accessible.
I was doing the same setup a couple of years ago for my other two sites without any issues.
However, this month, when setting up two new sites (on different domains and under different wp-admin access) with the similar settings (classic way via Network administration in wp-admin), both of them provide the same error message, when trying to access the second website->dashboard (translating from German it would sound like:) “the requested website redirects the request in a way, that the redirect cannot be finished”.
I was searching the web for similar issues and solutions, but was not successful so far.
Did any of you experience something similar? How did you solve it?
