Hi,
When you choose the “debug mode” you can get things as that :
Notice: WP_Query est appelé avec un argument qui est déprécié depuis la version 3.1.0 ! « caller_get_posts » n’est plus recommandé. Utilisez « ignore_sticky_posts » à la place. in …/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3891

This is truly not at all useful to tell you that “somewhere” into several million of lines of code there is a deprecated call…
How can I locate the error.
I remember to have hacked this into a previous version so that the source of error was referenced. But it was one year ago and I could not find it back quickly, probably I was using $message into the filter.
I had just added the references of the error, which seems more useful.
May be there is a way to use it but I really don’t find how (the reason is that they are not into a known small code, they come from everywhere with 4.6.1)
Thanks to implement such enhancement into the next version.
Because I cannot avoid to use debug mode to get good code, I need to hack again the core or seek old versions of core to find back my hack.
If I can restore the hack I will report here, for now to use the site I stopped using debug.
Best regards
Trebly
