The image optimization seemed to speed up my page load time however using the free version, it only optimizes 50 images. It gives you a report or summary of the number of images that are in need of optimization, which is my case was roughly 370, but only 50 were optimized for free. This is fine and I don’t mind paying for a quality plugin. The problem is, when I searched for the paid PRO version, I was lead to a site where I could subscribe to their endless catalog of plugins for a $49 monthly subscription fee. This bundling seems a bit unethical. A) I don’t need any other plugins B) If I did need another plugin, what if I didn’t want theirs? C) $49 a month for a single plugin is more than steep.
They should end this scammy bundling and sell each product for a single fee (or a lower monthly subscription per plugin); they should have no problem bringing in revenue if their other plugins are of top quality.
Anywho, I deleted this plugin and am looking for version that doesn’t force me to buy access to their entire catalog.
