I just switched to the twenty-seventeen theme and have 2 issues I can’t figure out (and I have read through the other posts in the forum, but still don’t get it).
1. I have my front page showing my latest blog posts and every post that has a featured image shows that image twice. I’ve managed to remove it from showing twice on the blog post page, but it still shows double on the front page. How to remove it? (my site is katieaune.com – I have manually removed the featured image from the first post so it doesn’t show, but you can see in the second post it shows double).
2. How do I get it to show excerpts and not full blog posts on the front page? I saw someone else ask this but couldn’t figure out how to implement the answer (I couldn’t find the CSS code that needed to be edited).
