Pantheon now provides WordPress hosting. In their Test and Live environments, write access is disabled.
The redirection plugin checks for write access and shows a disabled screen when it is not allowed. The only functionality that should be disabled is the logging. It would be ideal if the plugin only disables the logging option instead of the full plugin.
