Not to over simplify, but, this is the best forum for WordPress as of today. It is new, so it doesn’t have as many features as other forum software, but more features are coming. I like the fact that it is clean and simple. I’m not sure that I will install any add-ons as they become available. It depends on whether or not the add-on makes the experience substantially better or not. But, I know that add-ons are coming (maybe as soon as this weekend or next). How do I know? No, I don’t work for these guys, I just read their community forum. 🙂
Other forum plugins, like bbPress, are good, but the design and/or style isn’t quite on the same level as this plugin. I love the little details like the speech box style notification box pop-ups. It just has a more modern feel.
It also installed very easily. No errors. Everything worked and looked great out of the box. I wish all plugins were more like this one.
