I’ve received a notice from Google that we have structured data on our site that violates their structured data policy; I believe that’s coming from this plugin. It’s resulted in a manual action against the site.
The “overall rating” in the footer of this page appears to be one of the items responsible:

I wondered: is there a way to pull the same information without the structured data? I’d still like to show this information, but would like to do it without the schema.org markup. If there was another shortcode for use in cases like this one, that would probably do the trick.
If you have a github repo for this plugin and accept pull requests, I’d be happy to look at adding a shortcode for this purpose.
